Design that operates for you
Effective design requires more than strong visuals. It requires alignment, structure, and consistent decision-making. I started Cohort to help organizations define how their brand operates, then translate that direction into systems and execution.

The values that drive design at Cohort
Find answers to common questions about what we do and how we work.
Continuous Improvement
Progress is cumulative. Every project is an opportunity to refine thinking, process, and execution, with the goal of being incrementally better than the day before. Small improvements compound into stronger systems and more durable results over time.
Flexibility
Businesses change, constraints shift, and opportunities emerge. The service platform is built to adapt without losing momentum, whether that means scaling up, narrowing scope, or changing direction. Flexibility ensures progress continues without sacrificing quality or intent.
Focus
We prioritize the work that matters most. Every engagement begins by identifying the few decisions that will drive the greatest impact, then committing attention and resources to executing them well. Focus keeps strategy clear, timelines realistic, and outcomes measurable.
Identity
The strongest work comes from conviction. I partner only on work I believe in, because belief sharpens judgment, raises standards, and drives better outcomes. That commitment is not optional. It is the baseline for how the work is approached and delivered.
Stewardship
Stewardship extends beyond delivery. I take responsibility for how decisions hold up over time, how work performs in real market conditions, and how systems support the business beyond launch. Stewardship means treating creative work as an asset that must be maintained, evaluated, and refined in service of long-term goals, not just shipped and forgotten.
Trust
Trust is built through consistency. Decisions are made honestly, feedback is direct, and commitments are honored. Integrity governs how partnerships are formed, how challenges are addressed, and how success is defined.

Tyler Harvey
I’m a creative designer and brand strategist with over a decade of experience working across healthcare, technology, defense, wellness, and nonprofit organizations. My background spans agency environments, embedded roles, and long-term partnerships, which has shaped how I approach creative work. I prefer not to operate as a surface-level designer or a task-taker. I embed, learn the business, understand constraints and goals, and build systems that support real operations. Cohort was created to formalize that approach. Clear direction first, disciplined execution second, and creative work that holds up as teams grow, priorities shift, and pressure increases.

Graphic Design provides the execution layer that turns direction into tangible output. This work focuses on producing clear, durable visual assets that support marketing campaigns, events, sales efforts, and day-to-day communications. Whether engaged as a standalone solution or as an extension of broader brand and system work, the goal is consistency, clarity, and reliability across every touchpoint.
Deliverables commonly include digital campaign assets, social and email graphics, print and physical collateral, presentation and document systems, and supporting materials for campaigns and events. Each asset is designed to integrate cleanly into existing workflows and brand structures, balancing speed of delivery with long-term usability. The emphasis is on work that holds up under real operational demands, supports teams without creating friction, and reinforces the broader objectives the brand is working toward.
Brand Design establishes the visual foundation a business operates on. This work defines how a brand presents itself across every channel, ensuring consistency, clarity, and cohesion as the organization grows. Rather than focusing on isolated deliverables, Brand Design creates a system that aligns visual identity with positioning, messaging, and long-term objectives.
This solution typically includes logo systems, typography, color frameworks, visual language, and core brand assets designed to scale across digital, print, product, and marketing environments. The outcome is a durable identity that teams can deploy confidently without constant oversight. Brand Design supports growth by reducing friction, improving recognition, and giving internal and external partners a clear structure to work within, ensuring the brand remains intact as it moves faster and reaches further.
Brand Strategy defines the thinking that guides every creative decision. This work focuses on establishing clarity around who a brand is, what it stands for, and how it communicates, before any systems or assets are built. The objective is alignment. Alignment between business goals, audience expectations, and the way the brand shows up in market.
This solution typically includes discovery and research, positioning, messaging frameworks, tone and voice definition, and guidance for how the brand communicates across channels. Strategy is documented in a way that teams can operate from, not interpret loosely. The result is direction that removes guesswork, shortens decision cycles, and ensures that design, content, and campaigns are working toward the same outcomes. Brand Strategy provides the foundation that makes Brand Design effective and keeps execution focused as the business evolves.
Web Design translates brand strategy and identity into a functional digital environment. The focus is on structure, clarity, and performance, ensuring that the website supports how a business communicates, converts, and operates day to day. This work prioritizes usability and intent, not surface-level visuals, so the site remains effective as content, offerings, and audiences evolve.
Deliverables commonly include site architecture, page-level design systems, layout and component standards, and design for marketing, content, and conversion flows. Web Design is approached as a system that integrates with broader brand and marketing efforts, supporting campaigns, product launches, and ongoing updates without requiring constant redesign. The result is a site that scales with the business, communicates with precision, and functions as a dependable platform rather than a static artifact.
Product Design focuses on how users interact with systems, tools, and interfaces over time. This work aligns user needs with business objectives to ensure products are intuitive, reliable, and capable of scaling as requirements change. Rather than designing screens in isolation, Product Design establishes structure, patterns, and behaviors that support long-term use and iteration.
This solution commonly includes interface design, interaction models, component systems, and design guidance that integrates with engineering and product workflows. Product Design supports clarity in decision-making, reduces friction for users, and enables teams to evolve products without eroding consistency. The outcome is a product experience that feels intentional, resilient, and aligned with the broader brand and operational goals of the organization.
Design Partnership is a long-term engagement model built for organizations that need consistent, high-level creative leadership without hiring internally. In this role, I operate alongside founders, executives, developers, and marketing teams to provide ongoing direction, execution, and decision-making across brand, design, and communications. The focus is continuity. Maintaining clarity as priorities shift, teams grow, and initiatives expand.
This partnership can function as embedded support for specific initiatives or as a fractional design lead responsible for overseeing creative output across the organization. Work spans strategy, systems, and execution, with the flexibility to adapt as needs evolve. The result is a trusted creative partner who understands the business deeply, anticipates needs, and drives work forward without constant oversight, allowing internal teams to stay focused while creative operations remain aligned and effective.
